Our Mission

Ride Above Disability Therapeutic Riding Center is a haven where the spirit of possibility soars. As a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International accredited center, we specialize in providing therapeutic horseback riding programs to individuals of all ages and abilities with special needs. Our mission is to empower our riders, fostering their physical, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioral, and educational growth through the unique bond with horses. More than just riding lessons, we cultivate an inclusive environment where families can come together, build lasting connections, and celebrate the unique abilities of each individual.

Our Programs

From the moment a rider steps onto our ranch, a sense of warmth and welcome envelops them. Our dedicated team of experienced instructors meticulously designs individualized programs tailored to each rider's unique needs and goals.

We offer a variety of therapeutic riding programs for ages four and above. Our approach is deeply rooted in a team effort, ensuring that every lesson is a safe, fun, and supportive experience. Through carefully guided lessons, riders develop a profound connection with their equine partners. The rhythmic movement of the horse stimulates balance, coordination, and strength, while the responsibility of caring for their own horse builds confidence and independence.

We celebrate every milestone, no matter how big or small. Whether it's the first time a rider sits confidently in the saddle, the improved range of motion in their limbs, or the newfound communication skills gained through working with their horse, we recognize and celebrate the individual journey of each rider.
