Our Story

Kens Discount Building Materials is a South Arkansas based business that has been serving the community for over 45 years. In March of 1972, the company was founded in an old hamburger stand with only three stacks of plywood on consignment. Fast forward to 1990, Ken and his wife Dolores purchased their current location which boasts over 32,000 square foot of warehouse space and 20,000 square feet of showroom floor. The company has continued to grow and expand its services over the years, now offering a wide range of products and services to its customers.

Key Cutting

Our key machines are calibrated to ensure that our copies are extremely accurate and will work flawlessly in the same lock as the original. We can duplicate the majority of the keys you need to run your business, including file cabinet keys, mailbox keys, and padlocks. We also offer lock re-keying services for residential and commercial properties.

Lock Re-Keying

Our experienced lock professionals at Kens Discount are here to help you secure your property. Whether you're locked out of your home or business, or need to update your locks, we're here to assist you. We offer re-keying services for residential and commercial properties, and can provide duplicate keys for all of your lock brands.

Glass Cutting

Do you have a project that requires careful cutting of glass or plexiglass? Stop by Kens Discount and let us help you with your glass cutting project. We stock glass and plexiglass and can custom cut glass or plexiglass to your specific size measurements. Our glass cutting services can be used to create custom-made mirrors, glass tabletops, shower doors, entryway storm doors, window replacement glass, and much more.

Pipe Cutting & Threading

At Kens Discount, we carry steel, stainless steel, copper, HDPE and PVC pipe, plus a lot more. In addition to the materials, we also offer pipe cutting and threading to size, whether galvanized, brass, or black pipe. Bring us your cut list and we'll be sure to provide you with all the right pieces you need to make your next plumbing project quick and easy!
