Floor Sanding & Refinishing

Our sanding and refinishing process usually starts with preparing and sanding the floor, which can be a dusty process. We ensure to hang plastic over open doorways and other open areas to minimize dust. After sanding, we apply the finish, whether it's oiling, water base finish, or waxing, depending on your preference and the condition of your floor.

Screening & Re-coating

For floors that are in good condition, we can offer screening and re-coating. This process involves a light sanding of the floor to prepare it for a new coat of finish. However, the old finish must not be waxed, oiled, cleaned with murphies, or any other cleaner, as the new finish won't adhere to these substances, causing chipping or peeling.

Engineered Floors

Engineered floors are manufactured using multiple layers of wood laminated together. They don't expand and contract as much as solid wood floors, making them a great option for areas with high humidity. Engineered floors can be nailed, glued, or floated, depending on the subfloor.

Wood Floor Installation
