Our story began in 1938 when James Vander Giessen opened his first greenhouse to the public in his backyard on the edge of Lynden. Over 85 years later, much has changed, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to selling the best plants we can offer. We believe that every gardener, from beginners to seasoned green-thumbs, deserves access to top-quality plants and expert advice to make their garden thrive.
