Vandonzel Construction, Inc. has been building quality homes in the Bay Area since 1995. Our goal is to make your project ideas come to life in an easy, understandable manner. We have experience in all aspects of building and can help guide you in the planning, design, and construction of your project. We pride ourselves on relying on customer referrals for the majority of our business. We have many satisfied customers who would be pleased to speak with you about their experience with our company, and quite often will offer to give you a tour of their new home!

Our philosophy is simple: We build every home as if it were our own, with care and attention to detail. We meet with you to discuss your project, ask questions to determine your needs, and offer suggestions when warranted. Our project estimates are comprehensive and clear, without hidden surprises. Our Team

Paul Vandonzel, owner of Vandonzel Construction, Inc., has always had a passion for building. In high school, he attended vocational training in the carpentry field. By the time he graduated, he was working for a well-known union construction developer in San Jose. He completed the Carpenter's Apprenticeship Program and quickly rose in the ranks from apprentice to Job Superintendent. He obtained his General Contractor's License in 1995 and launched Vandonzel Construction, Inc., located in San Jose, CA, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Paul enjoys camping, boating, and working on classic trucks.

Our Job Superintendent, Rob Oller, has 30 years of experience in all aspects of construction job site management. He is passionate about work quality and job efficiency. Rob knows how to get the job done! We are also happy to have our son Derek Vandonzel join the company. Derek comes from a long time management position at UPS and brings a wealth of experience in project management, logistics, and communications.
