The Helena Story

Helena was born in Governador Valadares, Brazil, where she began making her own sugar wax at the age of 15. She used this homemade wax to remove unwanted hair for friends, family, and herself, laying the groundwork for her eventual career as an aesthetician. Helena customizes specially blended wax for longer-lasting results.

After moving to the United States in 1993, Helena worked in various retail sales positions before opening her own restaurant and retail store in Dallas. Upon moving to Houston, she decided to pursue her desire to become a licensed aesthetician. After completing her certification, Helena worked in several spas in Houston, refining her specialized skills in waxing and facials.

In March of 2006, Helena's Wax & Day Spa was opened, offering a wide range of services including hair removal for both men and women, luxury massages, full-body treatments, skin care, med spa treatments, and more. Helena is known for her professional, caring approach to all clients, and her commitment to providing exceptional service is the cornerstone of our business.
