High-Speed AC Motors
Our high-speed AC induction motors deliver power outputs from 10 to 6,000 horsepower with speeds up to 30,000 RPM. Designed for demanding applications like tunnel-boring machines and chemical processing equipment, these motors feature precision balance, ultra-high efficiency, and multiple cooling options. Available in voltages through 5,000V with various mounting configurations, they meet hazardous environment requirements through explosion-proof enclosures and MSHA certification.
Permanent Magnet Generators
Advanced permanent magnet generators provide ultra-high efficiency (98.5%) power generation solutions. These compact units feature hollow shaft designs, aluminum frames for high power-to-weight ratios, and extended-life windings with high corona inception voltage. Designed for dynamometer absorbers and industrial power systems, they offer low inertia and low torque ripple performance while meeting international standards for hazardous locations.
Hazardous Environment Motors
Specialized motors for hazardous locations include UL-rated XP and MSHA-certified explosion-proof models. These units feature sealed machine fits, corrosion-resistant construction, and special coatings for chemical environments. Available in medium voltage configurations with moisture-proof seals, they meet Class I Group C&D and Class II Groups E,F,G requirements for mining, chemical processing, and offshore applications.
Custom Motor Solutions
Custom-engineered motors address unique industrial challenges across diverse sectors. From automotive test dynos to underground mining equipment, our engineering team develops specialized solutions with non-standard speed/torque characteristics, multi-speed capabilities, and extreme duty cycle tolerances. These custom designs maintain compatibility with existing systems while optimizing performance for specific applications.
Contract Manufacturing
Full-service contract manufacturing leverages our 90+ years of motor production expertise. We provide precision component fabrication including lamination blanking, parting, and notching using low-loss electrical steels. Our production process incorporates in-house machining, lap-wound stator construction, and final assembly with complete quality assurance testing to meet customer-specific requirements.
