Our experienced team of acupuncturists, led by founder Dr. Peter Kadar, has been serving the Morristown community for over 35 years. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a range of traditional Chinese medicine therapies, including acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, moxabustion, herbal medicine, Tui Na, electroacupuncture, and pediatrics and Shonishin.
Our History
Our story began in the 1970s when Dr. Peter Kadar, a student at the University of New York in Buffalo, stumbled upon Eastern Philosophy and became fascinated by the ancient way of understanding the world. He went on to study acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture, one of the first schools in the country to teach these practices. After graduating, Dr. Kadar opened the Acupuncture Center of New Jersey in 1987, driven by a passion to create a place where healing was focused on the patient, not the disease.

Our team includes Dr. Peter Kadar, founder and director, and Punita Jhangiani, L.Ac., M.S.T.O.M., Dipl. ABORM, who joined ACNJ in 2008.
