Our Story

The Meredith Inn has a rich and fascinating history that dates back to the early 1900s. Built as a home for William Boling Meredith, a prominent figure in Kittanning's history, the property has played host to numerous notable events and has been a beloved gathering place for generations of local families. After serving as the Armstrong County YMCA for over five decades, the building was purchased by lifelong residents of Kittanning, Lee and Ed Walker, who had a vision to restore it to its former glory and create a unique dining and event experience. Today, The Meredith Inn is a testament to the Meredith family's legacy and a celebration of the community's rich heritage.
