Welcome to Custom Keepsakes, a place where creativity meets innovation. Our journey began in 1992, when our founder, Kathy, started a custom heirloom sewing business. She was passionate about creating beautiful and delicate trims and luxurious fabrics. With the advent of home embroidery machines in 1995, Kathy saw an opportunity to create something unique and innovative. She began learning to digitize embroidery designs, and a year later, she sold her first embroidery designs on floppy disks.

Since then, we have been pioneers in creating innovative techniques for home embroidery. Our signature style is a delicate digitization that closely mimics handwork. Our specialties include bullion roses by machine, continuous eyelet embroidery, and garment patterns "in the hoop" for babies, dolls, and ladies, among others.

Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to be associated with esteemed institutions and publications. We have been teachers at the Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion over a dozen times, and our founder has been an author of heirloom and hand smocking articles in Sew Beautiful magazine and other Martha Pullen publications since 1993. We are also occasional contributors to Classic Sewing, a magazine by Hoffman Media.

We also offer a variety of accessories, heirloom cotton laces, luxurious fabrics, pearl buttons, threads, and water-soluble stabilizers.
