Our company was influenced by 18th century naturalist, William Bartram's feats exploring the East Coast of the United States and our founder's affection for our area. Bartram Trail Surveying was first operated as a sole proprietorship for over 5 years by Thomas and Teri Hughes. Due to the popularity and growth, Teri began building out the infrastructure of the company, forming a woman-owned minority business, the now Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc. Teri expanded the company by adding key employees, standardizing processes and procedures, as well as managing the day-to-day operations. In November of 1999, Thomas Hughes began reaching out to the Jacksonville community and its surrounding areas to offer exceptional services at a fair price. With residential and commercial development on the rise in the Jacksonville area, Bartram Trail Surveying, Inc. has since been an established land surveying company in Northeast Florida for over 30 years.
