Greetings from the Riviera Roose Events Center, a special events venue located in the heart of the Cedar Valley in Janesville, IA. Our facility is steeped in history and nostalgia, having been built on the former site of the legendary Riviera Ballroom, which was inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. We are proud to continue the tradition of hosting unforgettable events and celebrations that started with the Riviera Ballroom.

Rental Information
The Riviera Roose Events Center boasts 4,308 square feet of space, perfect for your next special event. Our facility includes a large main hall, adjoined by a 660 square foot smaller room. The rated capacity of our venue is 370, but we recommend no more than 320 for a seated reception. We have a variety of rental packages and options available, from one-day rentals to weekend packages, as well as mid-week events and business meeting room rentals.
Our all-inclusive wedding rates cover all of the items that we have to offer, including tables and chairs, a staffed bar available on the day of the event, a 24ft stage, a lit backdrop, a licensed kitchen, a licensed fenced-in patio, a gazebo, and post-event cleaning services. We also offer 300 white chairs for use in outdoor ceremonies upon request.
For those looking to hold a rehearsal on the Friday before their wedding, we offer an add-on rental option that includes a bartender present during the rehearsal at no additional cost. This must be requested 30 days prior to the wedding date.
Wedding & Weekend Packages

Our wedding packages are priced as follows:
- One-day rent of the total facility for a full day: $3,000.00
- Two-day rent; Friday & Saturday: $3,350.00
- Three-day rent; Friday, Saturday, & Sunday till noon: $3,600.00
- Damage deposit of $300.00 due upon booking
We also offer discounted rates for members of the Janesville Events Center. Members receive a 10% discount off the listed rental rates Sunday-Thursday. Discount does not apply to the already discounted non-profit rate.
Mid-Week Events
We offer 5-hour and 10-hour rental options for mid-week events at a reduced rate. During June-October, these rates are only valid Monday-Friday. If the facility is still available 60 days prior to a weekend date, hourly rentals will be permitted.
Our business meeting room is available for rent at a rate of $75.00 and can seat up to 40 people. This room is available for rental Monday-Friday only.
