Nestled in the heart of southern York County, PA, Otter Creek Campground is a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Our campground is situated on thirty four acres of serene woodland, with the Susquehanna River and Otter Creek bordering our property. We offer campers 89 spacious sites, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The campground is open from mid April to October, providing a perfect getaway for the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Our Campground and Services

At Otter Creek Campground, we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, safe, and family-friendly environment. Our campground is operated by John & Lori Keohane and their team of dedicated caretakers, who work tirelessly to ensure the campground meets the high standards our campers expect. We offer water and electric campsites, perfect for tents, trailers, and RVs. For those looking to explore the Susquehanna River, we have a boat launch and picnic area available. Additionally, we have miles of hiking trails for campers to enjoy.

We welcome day visitors to enjoy our picnic area and playground. Please note that day visitors are required to pay a parking fee at the camp store. Picnic tables and grills are available for use, and we kindly ask that all visitors clean up after themselves.

Wildlife at Otter Creek Campground

As a campground surrounded by nature, it is common to encounter wildlife during your stay. To some wildlife, this is their natural habitat, so we ask that all campers be respectful and maintain a safe distance. We encourage campers to enjoy the variety of wildlife, including deer, foxes, groundhogs, and even the occasional skunk, from a distance. Please do not feed any wildlife, as human food can be harmful to their health.

The campground is also home to a variety of birds, ducks, and geese. We ask that all campers enjoy these creatures from a distance and refrain from feeding them. By following these simple guidelines, we can all coexist peacefully with the wildlife that call Otter Creek Campground home.
