At KidWorks Preschool, we are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children from birth to five years old. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a preschool that our own children would thrive in. In 1996, our founder Cathy Kramer, a certified teacher, and her husband spent weeks touring local preschools, only to be disappointed by the subpar conditions and lack of care. This sparked the idea to open their own preschool, where children would be valued and educated in a warm and welcoming environment.

Our Story

Our founder, Cathy Kramer, comes from a family of restaurateurs and understood the importance of providing excellent service. Combining her background in Early Childhood Development with her husband's entrepreneurial spirit, they took a leap of faith and opened the first KidWorks location in 1997. The family's commitment to providing a high-quality preschool experience was evident from the outset, with the couple investing their own savings, working tirelessly, and even selling their home to ensure the school's success.
