Our Story

Florida Tire Terminal (FTT) opened its doors in Avon Park, Florida, on September 25th, 1985. A commitment to providing a variety of high-quality tires at affordable prices has guided our journey since day one. Our original production facility, still located at 301 S. Feagin Ave., has been the heartbeat of our operations. Recognizing the evolving needs of our valued customers, FTT recently opened a new retail location on US 27 South in Avon Park. This expansion was a strategic move to enhance the buying experience and offer our customers a more comprehensive and convenient service.

At the core of FTT's philosophy is a dedication to upcycled tires. We believe in extending the lifecycle of tires whenever possible, offering used tires at a fraction of the cost of new ones. This approach not only provides significant savings for consumers but also champions environmental responsibility by reducing waste and conserving valuable natural resources.

Ohio Tire Terminal: Expanding Our Reach

In 2007, FTT's commitment to exceptional tire service expanded with the establishment of Ohio Tire Terminal (OTT). Sharing the same core values as FTT, OTT quickly gained a reputation for its extensive selection of used tires at competitive prices.

Adding to our footprint in the tire industry was the acquisition of a spacious 32,000 sq ft building on West Monroe St. in 2009. This strategic move allowed Ohio Tire Terminal to better serve its community while continuing to champion the upcycling of tires, contributing to a more sustainable future.
