Brett has a strong foundation in the home inspection industry, with a background of over 38 years working for a large insurance company, supervising construction, and conducting inspections. His technical knowledge covers all home trades and systems, and he continues to stay up-to-date with the National Standard changes through ongoing education.

Our standard inspection for residential homes involves a thorough assessment of the property's visible and safely accessible features while adhering to the InterNachi residential standards of practice. We provide a detailed electronic inspection report the same day of the service, enabling you to promptly proceed with the next step in the home buying or selling process. Our inspection covers the following components:

• Exterior: Roofing systems, including gutters, flashings, downspouts, skylights, and vents, structural components, driveways and walkways, decks, porches, patios, balconies and railings, foundation, grading, plumbing, and drainage, exterior doors, windows, sidings, soffits & fascia, attached garages, chimney, fencing & retaining walls, and electrical components, including solar.
• Interior: Attic area structure & components, basements & crawlspaces structure & subflooring, electrical systems & components, plumbing systems, including fire sprinkler, visual interior components of private well & private septic, excluding underground well tank, lines & pumps, HVAC systems, interior finishes, including doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings & stairways, all installed appliances and controls, all safety items, including smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, hand rails, fire walls, doors & proper egress, fireplaces & components, excluding interior flu liner, and drainage & sump pump systems.

In addition, we offer pre-real estate listing inspections, re-inspection after all repairs have been made, wood destroying insect inspections, swimming pools & components, new home construction inspections, and 10-11 month warranty inspection after completion, prior to the closing date.
