Dance Music Creation, a celebrated institution in Lynchburg, Virginia, has nurtured young dancers for over 20 years. Founded in 1996 by Lanette Lucado, DMC has become synonymous with quality dance instruction and a vibrant, supportive learning environment. Our Programs

DMC offers a comprehensive range of dance classes designed to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our students. Our Little Stars program, designed for ages 18 months to 6 years, introduces the joy of movement through playful activities and age-appropriate techniques. This foundational program sparks a love for dance while building essential coordination and musicality.

For older students, our technique dance classes provide a structured framework for mastering fundamental dance skills. From ballet and tap to jazz and lyrical, our experienced instructors guide students through each style, emphasizing proper technique, grace, and expression. For those seeking a more competitive outlet, our Performance Company offers the opportunity to hone their skills on a larger stage, participating in competitions and showcasing their talent.

Beyond formal classes, DMC provides additional enriching experiences. Our birthday party packages offer a fun and memorable celebration for young dancers. We also host public performances throughout the year, providing students with the chance to share their hard work and passion with the community.

At the helm is Mrs. Lanette, our founder and studio owner, a seasoned instructor with extensive experience in both performance and choreography. Mrs. Audrey, a long-standing member of the DMC family, began her dance journey as a student under Mrs. Lanette's guidance. Now a dedicated instructor, she shares her expertise and passion with students of all ages, fostering a love of dance and a strong sense of community. Together, Mrs. Lanette and Mrs. Audrey, along with our dedicated team, create a vibrant and supportive environment where students can thrive and discover the joy of dance.
