Our Story

Gary Charles and Associates Salon was opened in 1972 in Philadelphia, PA by Gary and Maureen Muhlberger. Since its inception, the salon has been on the cutting edge of the beauty industry, consistently offering a wide range of services to men and women. Over the years, Gary Charles and Associates has been recognized for its excellence, being named one of the top World Class Color Salons in the country. The salon's work has been published in various trade and fashion magazines, and it has been completely departmentalized since 1995, featuring separate color and styling departments, a special Bridal Department, and a full-service wig center. The salon also offers esthetician services such as facials, waxing, airbrush tanning, microblading, and more.
