Iconic Tattoo & Piercing is a studio located in the historic Cass Corridor of Detroit, Michigan. We are dedicated to providing exceptional custom tattooing and professional body piercing services. Our Services

At Iconic, we offer a wide range of services including custom tattooing by some of the most talented artists in the industry. Our team includes Matt Hessler, Chase aka Fel3000ft, Steve Sype, and Robert Casper, each with their unique style and expertise. We specialize in various tattoo styles such as illustrative, Japanese, urban contemporary, and realism.

In addition to tattooing, we also provide professional body piercing services by Rich Hartwick. He has been in the industry since 1995 and is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). Our studio carries an extensive array of fine body jewelry made from implant grade materials and solid gold, as well as small and large gauge organic plugs, spirals, and one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry.

Our History

Iconic Tattoo & Piercing occupies one of four storefronts in a newly renovated single-story retail building built in 1924. Over the years, the building has been home to various businesses, including restaurants, small shops, billiard halls, and an appliance store. In the 1960s, it was purchased by the On Leong Chinese Merchants Association and became one of the central buildings in Detroit's Chinatown. We are proud to be part of the renaissance of this historic neighborhood at such an exciting time in the city.
