Our History

Wallace P. Johnson Plumbing and Heating, Inc. has been successfully operating in Southern California since 1962. "Wally" started the company in the city of Orange working for local contractors and developers. At that time, Wallace P. Johnson Plumbing mostly worked in commercial industrial projects and would occasionally provide services for residential projects as well. Johnson Plumbing continued to grow as our services were becoming in demand in the industry. Our reputation was being built in the early years, which has provided a base that we continue today, 56 years later.

Darrol Johnson joined the company on a part-time basis while attending school and in 1976 became vice-president. Wally and his wife June retired in 1988 and at that time Darrol and his wife Stephanie took over ownership to continue the tradition that his parents set forth, providing quality service that exceeds its customer's expectations. In 2008, an additional office was opened in Colton to better serve the growing needs of the Inland Empire. This is another example of how we know the 56 years of experience has taught us that our customers are the most important asset we have.
