Our journey began with Captain Scott's love for fishing on Lake Michigan. As a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain, he has spent years honing his skills, studying the lake's behavior, and developing a deep understanding of its seasonal changes. This expertise allows us to target specific fish species, providing our guests with the best possible fishing experience.

Our Services

At Unsalted Outfitters, we offer two main services: fishing charters and sunset cruises. Our fishing charters cater to both beginners and experienced anglers, targeting species such as Salmon (King and Coho) and Trout (Brown, Rainbow, and Lake). We also offer evening adventures for a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan's stunning sunsets. Our expert crew will handle all the necessary equipment, and our experienced captains will guide you through the fishing process, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

The Unsalted Outfitters

Our charter fishing boat, the "Unsalted", is a 3000 Pursuit Offshore with a full cabin. The boat is designed and set up for fishing or sunset cruises on the Great Lakes. We take pride in our commitment to safety, with all the latest Garmin navigation equipment, including Radar, Sonar, GPS, and a Marine Radio. We are fully insured and meet all U.S. Coast Guard safety regulations. Our team is also CPR and First-Aid certified.
