Who We Are

The Washington Association of Mortgage Professionals (WAMP) is a membership-driven non-profit trade association that has been serving the mortgage industry for over 38 years. Our mission is to represent and educate mortgage industry professionals, promoting a more ethical, informed, and inclusive industry.

Our Membership

We are a diverse group of licensed mortgage loan originators, brokers, bankers, and lenders, with a mix of large and small companies, locally owned and operated businesses, and affiliated businesses that support the real estate and mortgage industries. Our membership includes independent and wholesale lenders, title companies, escrow agents, appraisers, insurance companies, and real estate professionals.

Our Services

WAMP offers a range of services to support the mortgage industry, including:

• Representation: We advocate on behalf of our members to ensure that their interests are represented at the local, state, and national levels.
• Education: We provide educational resources and training opportunities to help mortgage professionals stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments and best practices.
• Networking: We host regular networking events, conferences, and seminars to bring together mortgage professionals from across the state.

Leadership

Our leadership team is comprised of experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of the mortgage industry. Our president, Missy Lawson, has been involved in the mortgage industry for over 35 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

Our Events

We host a range of events throughout the year, including our annual charity golf tournament, awards ceremony, and gala. These events bring together mortgage professionals from across the state to network, learn, and give back to our communities.
