Our Mission

Clearwater Native Plant Nursery is a wholesale nursery established in 2002 to address the growing need for native plants in ecological restoration and landscaping throughout central Oregon. We specialize in the propagation of upland, riparian, and wetland plants, as well as those adapted to drier regions.

Our Background and Expertise

Our team comprises experienced professionals with extensive knowledge in natural resources and fish and wildlife habitat restoration. This deep understanding of the local ecosystem informs our plant selection and cultivation practices. We are passionate about promoting ecological balance and fostering a diverse array of native plants across the region.

Custom Contract Growing and Supply

We operate as a contract grow nursery, partnering with agencies, organizations, and landscaping companies on habitat restoration projects across the Deschutes, John Day, Great Basin, and Klamath River basins. We provide high-quality native plants tailored to each project's specific needs and specifications.

Native Plant Diversity

At Clearwater, we cultivate over 100 species of native wildflowers, grasses, and shrubs. Our extensive selection includes:
