• Dr. Alex Shearer

Dr. Shearer is the proud owner of Eastlake Veterinary Hospital, taking over from the founding Dr. Carl Anderson in 2019. A lifelong Seattle resident, Dr. Shearer graduated from Roosevelt High School and Whitman College before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Washington State University. He and his wife, Kristen (who is also a veterinarian!), share a love for the Seattle area's vibrant community. When not caring for patients, Alex enjoys exploring the great outdoors, attending live music, cheering for local sports teams, and savoring Seattle's culinary delights. Weekends are often filled with family adventures.
