Our Story

Paul's journey in fine woodworking began with an 11-year apprenticeship at a prestigious custom furniture business in Maryland, where he honed his skills in antique and modern furniture repairs, as well as creating top-quality reproduction furniture. After gaining extensive experience, Paul decided to establish his own business, Paul D. Navarria Fine Woodworking, where he could continue to uphold the "Old World" style of furniture building and repair. This approach involves using hand tools first and machine tools second, ensuring that every piece is crafted with precision and care.
