Our owner and photographer, Jim Smith, has been working in studios for nearly three decades, honing his style to be both classic and contemporary, with a focus on the subject and great lighting. Portraits

More than anything, we love portraits. From traditional and classic to modern and cutting-edge, we've got you covered. Whether you're looking for family portraits, kids' portraits, baby portraits, or even pet portraits, we're here to capture your unique style. Our focus is always on the subject, ensuring that the lighting and composition are perfect. If you're looking for something really special, we can even do location shoots based on availability, capturing your family's personality in your favorite spot.

Our portrait pricing is designed to be affordable and flexible. We offer a range of collections, from Collection 1, which includes any three sheets from your favorite pose for $70, to Collection 6, which includes any 25 or more sheets from any poses for just $11 per sheet. Plus, if you order within one week of proof delivery, you can save 10% on your collection.

Schools and Sports

School photos are our specialty! Each year, we provide portraits for nearly 10,000 kids, from preschool through seniors. We're dedicated to capturing these important milestones in a child's life, providing parents with beautiful images to treasure. We also partner with over a dozen youth sports leagues, providing high-quality individual and team photos to thousands of kids throughout the area. Participating leagues earn commissions from photo sales, helping to fund their programs. It's a win-win for everyone involved!

Weddings

At Smith Photography, we understand that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. That's why we offer simple pricing for wedding coverage, including eight hours of coverage, all of your edited digital files, and copyright release, all for just $1999. Our photographer, Jim Smith, has been capturing stunning images of weddings all over upstate New York and Pennsylvania since 1999, with an easy-going and relaxed approach that ensures you feel comfortable and at ease on your big day. We're dedicated to capturing the emotion and feelings unique to each wedding, providing you with timeless images that you'll cherish for years to come.
