Bill McCullough Photography

Bill McCullough is a distinguished, self-taught American photographer based in Austin, Texas. With a degree in Plan II economics from the University of Texas at Austin, Bill combines his analytical background with his unique photographic style, resulting in compelling and thought-provoking imagery.

Bill's work has been published in a variety of prestigious national and international publications, including The New York Times Magazine, New York Times Lens Blog, New Yorker Magazine, New York Magazine, National Geographic, Virginia Quarterly Review, Rangefinder Magazine, Spot (Houston Center of Photography), Photonews in Germany, Lensculture, Photo District News, and many others. His work has been featured in over 20 solo and group exhibitions across the United States, Russia, France, China, Malaysia, and the Czech Republic.

In 2008 and 2011, Bill's work was awarded the high honor of being purchased for the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Portland Art Museum. He has been the recipient of several prestigious awards, such as the Fotofest Discovery in 2012, and First place at the International Festival of Photography Photovisa IV in Krasnodar, Russia in 2012.
