Family Counseling Service-Finger Lakes

Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes (FCSFL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional counseling and support services to individuals, children, and families. Our mission is to improve the quality of life at home and in the community. Since its inception in 1962, FCSFL has evolved to offer a wide range of programs, including Domestic Violence, Child Sexual Abuse Assessment and Treatment, Trauma Therapy, and General Counseling, among others.

Our Journey

Our journey began with general counseling services for children, individuals, and families. Over the years, we expanded to address specific needs such as Domestic Violence, Child Sexual Abuse, Trauma, and LGBTQ+ Support. In 1984, we introduced the Child and Adolescent Sexual Abuse Program, which later grew to include Trauma services in 2013. Our Domestic Violence Program started in 1988, and we also established the Bilingual Family Services Program over a decade ago to assist Hispanic families in accessing needed services.

Services Offered

Our services include Family Counseling, Individual and Family Therapy, Domestic Violence Program, Parenting Programs, LGBTQ+ Program, Bilingual Family Services, Care Coordination, Organizational Services, Employee Assistance Program, School-Based Services, and the Finger Lakes Resiliency Network. We strive to provide a comprehensive range of support to cater to diverse needs within our community.
