Our owner, Norbert Koblitz, has a rich background in fine dining, having worked as an Executive Chef in various restaurants, hotels, and resorts around the world. Norbert's passion for Basque cuisine stems from his childhood in Germany, where family-style dining was an integral part of his upbringing. He brings this tradition to our restaurant, where we strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Our Story
In 2003, Norbert and his partners purchased the restaurant, and by 2006, he became the sole owner of the Carson Valley Country Club. Since then, Norbert and his family have worked tirelessly to expand on the traditions of the restaurant, bringing new inspiration and creativity to the menu while maintaining the same level of excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction. Our restaurant is a reflection of Norbert's love for food, family, and community, and we are proud to be a part of the Carson Valley's rich history and culture.
