Our Story
Our journey began on May 1, 2008, when our owner and pharmacist, Anthony Mercante, opened the doors to Ponchatoula Family Pharmacy. With a passion for serving his community, Anthony aimed to create a welcoming environment where patients feel like family. Over the years, we've grown into a thriving pharmacy, dedicated to providing top-notch services and products to our valued customers.
Our Services
At Ponchatoula Family Pharmacy, we offer a wide range of services designed to cater to your healthcare needs. Our experienced pharmacists provide Medication Adherence and Medication Therapy Management to ensure you're getting the most out of your medications. We also offer Immunizations, Medication Synchronization, and refill services for your convenience. Additionally, our pharmacy features a unique Gift Shop, stocked with candles, purses, throws, home decor items, and baby gifts, as well as sports-themed merchandise for the Saints, LSU, and Ponchatoula High School fans.
