Come for the wine, stay for the memories.
Wagonhouse Winery, situated in the heart of Swedesboro, New Jersey, is a testament to the enduring spirit of creativity and perseverance. Founded in 2004 by Dan and Heather, the winery is a product of their decision to start a vineyard and winery, leasing land from Dan's family who had been farming in Mickleton for over a century. With hope in their hearts and grapes in the ground, they pioneered their way into the world of winemaking, and they have never looked back.
The name "Wagonhouse" originates from the old wagonhouse on the Brown family farm, which served as the inspiration for the tasting room's design. The current tasting room, which was once the site of the original wagonhouse for the farm located at 1401 Route 45, stands as a symbol of their unwavering dedication and the realization of their original vision.
The Three Boys Brand
In 2009, Dan and Heather expanded their offerings by introducing the Three Boys Brand, a new line of sweet and unique wines. The name was inspired by their three little boys, who were 5, 3, and 1 at the time. This creative line of wines not only showcases their wine making prowess but also distinguishes their traditional dryer wines under the Wagonhouse Winery label. Even dry wine enthusiasts have discovered favorites within this imaginative collection.
