Blue Oaks Veterinary Clinic was founded by Dr. Omar Cabrera and Dr. Aileen Thompson in 2017. After working together at another local clinic for five years, Drs. Cabrera and Thompson merged their dreams of practice ownership to create Blue Oaks Veterinary Clinic. Our goal is to treat you and your animals as our family, and to provide high-quality medical care with state-of-the-art equipment to small animals, exotics, and avian species in Roseville and the greater Sacramento area.

We offer a wide range of services to ensure your pet receives the best possible care. Our services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, and more. Our team is committed to keeping your pet healthy year-round, and we recommend biannual wellness exams to ensure your pet stays healthy. We also offer vaccinations, which are important to keep your pet healthy, as well as your human family. Our dental care services are designed to keep your pet's mouth healthy, and we have invested in state-of-the-art dental equipment to provide the best possible care.
In addition to our routine services, we also offer surgery services, including routine spaying and neutering, as well as emergency surgeries. In the event that a board-certified surgeon is needed, we have a partnership with a local surgeon who will come and perform specialty surgeries in our clinic, so your pet stays under the care of their primary care veterinarian in an environment they are comfortable in.
