Our team of experienced optometrists continues the legacy of the late Dr. Ben T. Matoba, O.D., who started this practice in Denver in 1947.

• Comprehensive Vision Care: Our optometrists perform thorough eye examinations to evaluate your visual acuity, eye alignment, and overall eye health. We also offer contact lens fittings and provide a wide selection of eyeglasses and contact lenses to suit your needs.
• Medical Eye Care: We provide medical eye care services for conditions such as glaucoma, dry macular degeneration, and diabetic and hypertensive eye management. We utilize the latest technology to diagnose and manage these conditions, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and visual field testing.
• Treatment and Management of Glaucoma: Dr. Robert K. Matoba has extensive experience in the management and treatment of glaucoma, including SLT and diabetic and hypertensive management.
• Removal of Lid Lumps and Bumps: Dr. Naomi Matoba specializes in the removal of lid lumps and bumps and the management of cornea, tear film pathology, dry eye, and specialty contact lenses.
• Retina and Dry Macular Degeneration Management: Dr. Joel K. Matoba has extensive experience in the management of retina and dry macular degeneration, as well as general eye care and contact lens services.
• Neuro/Head Trauma, Low/Partially Sighted Vision, and Corneal Injury Rehabilitation: Dr. Kirk S. Matoba specializes in neuro/head trauma, low/partially sighted vision, and corneal injury rehabilitation.

DRS. MATOBA, OPTOMETRISTS is a family-owned and operated practice, and we are proud to have three generations of optometrists on our team.

• Dr. Robert K. Matoba: Dr. Matoba specializes in the treatment and management of glaucoma and has extensive experience in the management of glaucoma and diabetic and hypertensive management.
• Dr. Naomi (Yano) Matoba: Dr. Matoba specializes in the removal of lid lumps and bumps, cornea, tear film pathology, dry eye management, and specialty contact lenses.
• Dr. Joel K. Matoba: Dr. Matoba specializes in retina and dry macular degeneration management, vision therapy, and general eye care.
• Dr. Kirk S. Matoba: Dr. Matoba specializes in neuro/head trauma, low/partially sighted vision, and corneal injury rehabilitation.

DRS. MATOBA, OPTOMETRISTS is conveniently located in Lakewood, Colorado at 200 Union Blvd., Suite 415. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to Noon.
