Our Story

BJ Baker graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008, where he was actively involved in the Native American Law Student Association and received the CALI Award Winner in Advanced Legal Writing. After law school, BJ worked with the District 27 District Attorney's Office, where he was involved in various task forces, including the Child Abuse Task Force and the Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response Team. He also gained valuable jury trial experience and prosecuted all drug crimes in Cherokee County during the height of the "shake and bake" meth lab era.

In 2013, BJ opened his private practice, BJ Baker Trial Attorney, where he has been serving clients ever since. With extensive knowledge and experience in jury trials, BJ has honed his skills in DUI, domestics, child abuse, sex crimes, drug crimes, weapons crimes, and murder cases.

At BJ Baker Trial Attorney, we understand that each client's situation is unique, and we are committed to providing a personalized approach to every case. Our team of professionals, led by Attorney BJ Baker, includes Office Manager May Coffron and Paralegal Brandy Hayes, who have been with the firm since 2016.
