Owners Bryan Goodwin and Barret Foust, who have known each other since their days at Clemson University, have built a company that prides itself on clear communication, high standards, and excellence in each phase of the custom home building process.

Bryan Goodwin, as the senior project manager, leads the Goodwin Foust team with his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. Barret Foust, the other co-founder, manages the business and financial aspects of the company, contributing his expertise to the overall success of every project.

In addition to the owners, our team includes skilled and experienced professionals dedicated to ensuring each client's vision is carefully executed. The Goodwin Foust Story

The history of Goodwin Foust Custom Homes began when Bryan Goodwin and Barret Foust met at Clemson University in 1991. They shared a goal of starting a custom home building business together, and after graduating in 1994 with B.S. degrees in Construction Science & Management, they gained the necessary knowledge and expertise by working in the residential construction industry.

In 2004, Bryan and Barret founded Goodwin Foust Custom Homes in Upstate, South Carolina, establishing a reputable company that has cultivated successful partnerships with developers, real estate agents, vendors, and subcontractors. Today, Goodwin Foust Custom Homes is known for clear communication, high standards, and excellence in custom home building, serving clients throughout the Upstate region.
