SKG Engineering is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm that offers a complete package of engineering, surveying, environmental, laboratory, and construction testing services. With experience and expertise in handling a variety of projects efficiently and professionally, we are dedicated to providing our clients with high-quality services. Our company operates under three divisions: engineering, surveying, and laboratory/construction material testing. Our engineering division manages projects related to municipal and private infrastructure, civil and structural design, geotechnical investigations, land development, drilling services, and environmental studies. The surveying division is responsible for property surveying, title (mortgage) surveying, and subdivision design services. The laboratory/construction material testing division manages water analysis, soil analysis, bacteria testing, natural gas chromatography, and construction material testing.

Our Staff

SKG Engineering employs a team of highly skilled professionals, including two Registered Professional Surveyors, one Surveyor in Training, four Professional Engineers, two Engineers-in-Training, a licensed Water Well (Environmental) Driller, four drafters, a Survey Manager, a Chemist, a Biologist, and various field and office technicians and assistants. Our team's expertise and experience enable us to handle a wide range of projects and deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Engineering Services

The engineering department at SKG Engineering provides quality work with unbeatable turnaround times to accommodate project schedules. We offer the total package of services to assist clients with their projects from start to finish. Our survey department provides property and topographic surveys, and our geotechnical engineers and laboratory provide geotechnical investigations and environmental site assessments. Our civil and structural engineers provide practical and innovative technical solutions for the civil and structural design that projects require. Our construction materials testing department carries projects through completion with testing and inspections.

Geotechnical Services

Our geotechnical engineers have expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and site development. We provide a full range of geotechnical services, including subsurface investigations, engineering analysis, and recommendations for foundation design, pavement design, and site development. Our geotechnical engineers work closely with our construction materials testing department to ensure that projects are built according to specifications and that soil and rock conditions are suitable for construction.

Laboratory and Construction Material Testing Services

Our laboratory and construction material testing services provide comprehensive testing and analysis of soils, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. Our services include testing for physical properties, chemical analysis, and compliance with specifications. We have a NELAP Accredited Laboratory for Bacteria Analysis and ACI Certified Field Technicians. Our technicians are also certified in Nuclear Gauge Operator Safety Training.

SKG Engineering is registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (Firm Registration Number F-7608) to offer and perform engineering services in the State of Texas. We are a Texas licensed Surveying Firm (Registration Number 101024-00) legally qualified to offer land surveying services in this State under the laws of Texas governing surveying. Our laboratory has a NELAP Accredited Laboratory for Bacteria Analysis (No. T104704387), and our construction material testing department has ACI Certified Field Technicians.
