At Camp Augusta, we're more than just a summer camp - we're a community dedicated to helping children develop self-confidence, independence, social skills, creativity, and a sense of wonder. Nestled in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Forest, our 90-acre campus provides the perfect setting for campers to explore, learn, and grow.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: we believe in providing a fun and enriching experience that goes beyond the typical summer camp activities. We want our campers to develop a sense of self-awareness, environmental appreciation, and healthy living skills, all while making lifelong friends and memories. Our experienced and passionate staff, led by our director with a Ph. D. in psychology, are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that fosters growth, creativity, and expression.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs for children, families, schools, youth groups, clubs, and business groups from around the country and the world. Our summer camp programs include 1- and 2-week sessions, wilderness trips, and family camps, with over 150 different program areas to choose from. From arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, our activities are designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging, with a focus on building skills, confidence, and friendships.

Our staff undergoes the longest staff training in the U.S., and our 1:3 staff-to-camper ratio ensures that every camper receives personalized attention and support.
