Slim's Barber Shop

At Slim's Barber Shop, we are a full-service barber shop that specializes in a variety of cuts including Fades, Flat Tops, Mohawks, Pomps, Tapers, and Blowouts. Our barbers are skilled in conforming to any specific military regulations and can handle any type of regular cut as well. We have been serving our customers since 2005 and have built a reputation for excellence in our field.

Our founder, Kevin Slimko, also known as Slim the Barber, has a diverse background that led him to open Slim's Barber Shop. He previously tried his hand at a dog grooming business, a pet store specializing in worms, and even worked for a pharmaceutical company. However, it was his education in cosmetology and barber school, along with his five years of experience working for an expert in fading and flat tops on the north side of Chicago, that truly prepared him for the success of Slim's Barber Shop.

Over the years, Slim's Barber Shop has been fortunate to have great customers and low turnover among our barbers. Currently, our team includes Dean, also known as The Bakala, Bobby B., and The Dried Cod Fish, who has been with Slim's since 2009. Greg, who stopped touring with his band to join Slim's in 2014, and Ace and Mick, also known as The Calamari King, who have been with Slim's since 2020. We also had the pleasure of working with Adam, also known as Chauncey, who was with Slim's from 2010 to 2020 before moving to Arizona. He is currently working at Nico's Barber Shop in Mesa, AZ.
