Counterscapes, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Fletcher C. Smith. Privately held and owner managed for more than 30 years, Counterscapes has the history, stability, and reputation for quality you should demand. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and expertise in the selection and installation of countertops. We understand how important it is to choose the right material for your kitchen or bathroom countertops. With a wide range of materials including granite, marble, quartz, solid surface, soapstone, and recycled glass, we offer an extensive choice to suit your style and budget.

Our Team

Fletcher Smith, the founder and owner of Counterscapes, has over 35 years of experience in the industry. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Terry Horton, our business development expert, has over 40 years of experience in construction and was previously the owner of a commercial subcontracting firm. Maddie Forsythe, our Chief Estimator, oversees all projects and has lead projects such as Christus Institute for Healthy Living and North East Texas Oncology. Our office manager, Jenn Kennedy, ensures that every customer is happy from start to finish. John Kennedy, our Production Manager, has over 35 years of experience in fabrication and installation. Austin Blevins, our CNC Manager, uses his skills to design and produce Solid Surface walls, countertops, and more.
