Our Story

Our owner, Jim Mariano, is an entrepreneur with a background in software and technology. However, his true passion lies in the event rental industry, which he has been a part of since his high school and college summers working for BC Tent in Avon, MA. After graduating with a Business degree from Merrimack College, Jim decided to start his own tent rental business, and Backyard Tent Rental was born. Since then, we have grown to become a trusted and reliable partner for backyard parties, corporate events, and wedding ceremonies.
