Our Story
The Progressive Riding Program was founded on the principle that every horseback rider, regardless of age or experience, deserves to receive high-quality instruction and training in a safe and supportive environment. Our mission is to create good safety-conscious horsemen who understand the importance of responsible horse ownership and care. At PRP, we believe that horseback riding is a lifetime sport that can bring joy and fulfillment to people of all ages.
Our Services
At PRP, we offer a comprehensive approach to horseback riding that goes beyond just learning to ride a horse. Our lesson plans are designed to teach students the skills they need to ride safely and confidently, while also imparting valuable knowledge about horse care and management. Our experienced instructors are certified by the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and are committed to providing personalized instruction to every student.
Our Approach
Our approach to horseback riding is based on the Total Horsemanship Approach, which emphasizes the importance of understanding the needs of the horse, as well as developing the skills and knowledge necessary to ride safely and confidently. We believe that every student should be treated as a future horse owner, and as such, we provide comprehensive instruction in horse care and management. This includes learning horse behavior, nutrition, and health, as well as how to care for a horse's living environment.
Our Facility
Our facility is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for both riders and horses. We have a large outdoor arena and several indoor arenas, as well as a comfortable waiting room and viewing area for spectators. Our facility is also equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and horse care supplies.

Our instructors are highly experienced and certified by the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA). They are committed to providing personalized instruction and support to every student, regardless of their age or skill level.
Our Interscholastic Program
We are proud to offer an Interscholastic riding team for riders in grades 4-12. This program is designed to provide a fun and competitive environment for young riders who share a passion for horseback riding.
