Foundation For SBHS

The Foundation for Santa Barbara High School is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the academic program, enriching the physical campus, and expanding the variety of extracurricular activities for all students. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to excel, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our Mission

Our mission is to fund projects that will:

• Strengthen the academic program by supporting innovative teaching initiatives, student support services, and curriculum development.
• Improve the physical campus by funding facility upgrades and technology enhancements.
• Enrich extracurricular activities by supporting clubs, sports, and performing arts programs.

How We Make a Difference

The Foundation raises funds through two primary initiatives:

• Annual Fund: This fund supports ongoing operational costs such as teacher professional development, technology upgrades, student scholarships, and enrichment programs.
• Capital Campaigns: These campaigns raise funds for major facility improvements, such as renovations, technology upgrades, and new equipment.

Our Dedicated Team

The Foundation's Board of Directors is made up of dedicated volunteers with diverse backgrounds in business, education, and community service. They work closely with school administrators and teachers to identify the highest priority needs and ensure that donations are used efficiently and effectively.
