At Snow Farm Vineyard, we're passionate about crafting exceptional wines and spirits that truly reflect the beauty of the Champlain Islands. Our journey began in the mid-1990s as a dream to preserve our retired dairy farmland as agricultural land. Today, we're proud to be Vermont's first commercial grape vineyard and winery, dedicated to keeping the land open and working.

Our History

Our story began with a mission to provide a model for farmers, showcasing the possibility of diversified agricultural pursuits that keep Vermont lands working. Since 1996, we've been committed to growing cooler climate vinifera grapes, including Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, and Riesling, to create exceptional white wines. Our red wines, featuring Leon Millot, Baco Noir, and unique blends, are also crafted with care and precision. Thanks to Vermont's cold winter temperatures, we produce distinctive late harvest and dessert wines, including our true Vidal Blanc Ice Wine, made in the traditional way by hand-picking grapes in mid-December.
