Our History
Magnum Construction Service's roots go way back to 1966 when founder William James Hewitt began as a plastering contractor, stuccoing small garages and personal residences. Over the course of 50 years, William built a large and profitable plastering company with a separate scaffold division managed by his son and current President and CEO of Magnum Construction Services. In 2009, William James Hewitt formally stepped down as CEO and his son Chad J Hewitt took over day-to-day operations of the company. In 2014, Mr. Hewitt teamed up with Daniel G. Styles and Styles Capital Group, Inc, a Texas-based private equity firm, which became an equity partner in Magnum and a co-manager with Mr. Hewitt. Since the partnership, Magnum has tripled in size and continues to grow.

Customer Experiences with the Scaffolding Company
Poor Customer Service
Some reviewers had unpleasant experiences with the company's customer service. Sharon Matheny's car windshield was damaged by rocks from one of their trucks, and when she complained to the manager, he was rude and hung up on her. Similarly, David Castellano was upset when the company's workers entered his property without notice and made fun of the owner when confronted.
Concerns about Work Quality and Respect for Property
Steven C. was disappointed with the company's work, saying they took too long to complete the job and had no regard for public right of way or private property. David Castellano's experience also highlighted the company's lack of respect for others' property.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, some reviewers had a good experience with the company. Chris Wright praised the company's hard workers who get the job done to OSHA standards. James Agustin appreciated the company's pride in their work, making them a great option for commercial work.
