Shooting Stars Dance School (SSD) is a renowned dance academy that has been established for over 30 years. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth, creativity, and technical excellence in dance. We strive to inspire and motivate our students to reach their full potential, both in dance and in life.

Our Studio

Situated in a state-of-the-art facility, our studio boasts three large dance rooms, a work study room, and viewing windows. We have sprung floors, TV monitors to keep parents updated on their child's classes, and ample parking. Our studio has been recognized as one of the top 50 dance studios in the nation by the Federation of Dance.

Our History

Shooting Stars has a rich history, having started with just 30 students in the early days. Over the years, we have grown into a thriving performing arts school with thousands of students who have gone on to achieve great things in the world of dance, theater, television, and entertainment. Our alumni have performed at iconic venues such as New York's Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, as well as Tokyo Disney and other world-renowned stages.

Our Classes

We offer a wide range of dance classes for children and teens, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary. Our experienced instructors provide personalized attention to ensure that each student reaches their full potential. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also challenging and rewarding.

Mini Team SSD Elite Ages 4-8

This is an introduction to our SSD Elite competitive team, designed for dancers aged 4-8. Dancers will train 2-3 times a week, focusing on tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tumbling. They will compete in local regional competitions and one Orlando area Nationals with the option to travel out of state if chosen.
