Auvenshine's School Of Tae Kwon DO School
Founded in 1997 by Grandmaster Bill and Patty Auvenshine, our taekwondo school has served Central Illinois for over 27 years. Despite Bill's paralysis from a 1995 accident, he and Patty built a program emphasizing discipline, character development, and community responsibility. Under Patty's leadership since 2019, we continue to focus on holistic growth through traditional taekwondo training. Our instructors combine decades of teaching experience with adaptive methods to accommodate students of all ages and abilities. We prioritize self-defense, fitness, and mental focus while fostering respect and self-confidence. Our family-friendly environment welcomes newcomers and supports long-term student development through structured classes and community engagement. With specialized programs for children, teens, adults, and families, we maintain a legacy of accessible, values-driven martial arts education.
