Welcome to Dance Connections, your premier dance and gymnastics academy in the Milford TriState Area. We are proud to have served our community for 18 years, offering the largest variety of classes and the most experienced teaching staff in the region. We are more than just a dance school-we are a dance family, committed to nurturing the growth and development of our students both as dancers and as individuals.

Our Goal: Empowering Students Through Dance

Our goal is to create skillful dancers in a no-drama, family-based atmosphere, while also empowering our students, building their confidence, self-esteem, and teaching them life lessons that will cultivate amazing young adults in anything they choose to do. We believe that dance is a powerful tool for personal growth, and we strive to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where students can learn, explore, and express themselves through movement.

Variety of Styles: Something for Everyone

Our schedule offers a variety of styles including Ballet, Jazz, HipHop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Theater, Tap and Gymnastics. Whether you're a competitive dancer or a student who enjoys taking classes at your own pace, we have the experience, opportunities, and environment to accommodate you. Each year, our programs offer fresh, new, and original choreography complete with new costumes for our Annual Performances.

Gymnastics: Fitness and Fun

Our studio also offers beginner tumbling through int/advanced floor-based gymnastics classes. Many of our students explore gymnastics to expand and improve their flexibility, strength, and coordination skills. For us, Dance Connections feels like a second home, a second family. Opportunities: Professional Dance Experiences

We provide professional dance opportunities including regional conventions and workshop classes with choreographers. We give our students a view of a larger dance world to develop, encourage, inspire and express themselves through movement. Our students have the opportunity to travel, learn from industry professionals, and showcase their talents on a larger stage.

Meet Our Faculty: A Team of Passionate and Experienced Instructors

Our incredible team of trained and dedicated faculty is the backbone of Dance Connections. Our Director, Miss Gricel, has been instructing children for over 35 years and has received prestigious scholarships and training from the Joffrey Ballet School, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and top NYC schools. She has performed in renowned ballet productions and has since focused her talent on teaching, creating a nurturing and technically strong class environment.

Miss Tara is a currently professional working dancer and choreographer, trained in various styles and having performed with high-profile artists such as Jennifer Lopez and BTS. She has trained at Broadway Dance Center and PeriDance Capezio Center since the age of 10 and has been with Dance Connections since our grand opening.
