Originally established as the West Point Cabins in 1923, we have continuously evolved and adapted to meet the needs of our guests, growing from humble cabins to the charming motel you see today.

Our History

The West Point Motel's journey began in 1923 when it first opened its doors as the West Point Cabins. Over the years, it transformed into the West Point Motel, adapting to the changing landscape brought about by the interstate highway system. In 1983, a new building was added, and another was completed in 1987. By 1990, the final building was finished, marking the end of an extensive expansion project.

For nearly a century, our family has been honored to offer some of the best accommodations north of New York City. Christy led the business with dedication and passion from 1963 to 1983. After his passing, his son Gus and his wife Vicky took over, continuing the family legacy. Today, Gus and Vicky's son, Christy, carry on the tradition, serving guests with the same commitment to excellence.

Rooms & Amenities

The West Point Motel features 51 spacious, non-smoking guest rooms, each offering you the choice of rooms with two queen-size beds or one king-size bed. Complimentary continental breakfast, ice machines, microwaves, and an accessible parking area are available for all guests. Regrettably, we do not allow pets, except for CNI dogs. Discounts are offered for federal government, military, and AARP members. Please contact us directly for information on long-term room rates and large group bookings.

Each of our rooms includes free wireless internet, free parking, refrigerators, Samsung Flat Screen LED HDTVs with DIRECTV, air conditioning/heating, telephones, clock radios, coffee makers, hair dryers, and irons with ironing boards. For those seeking a romantic getaway or a comfortable retreat, we offer rooms with a large king-sized bed and rooms with two queen-sized beds.

For families and friends traveling together, we provide adjoining rooms with two queen-sized beds in each room with a connecting door. Our deluxe rooms feature two queen-sized beds, a plush couch, and extra chairs, providing ample space for relaxation. We also offer handicapped-accessible rooms with zero-entry showers and adjustable hand-held showers.
