Questionable Staff and Care
It appears that not all staff members at Hunt Rehabilitation are equally committed to providing high-quality care. Two reviewers reported having negative experiences with staff who seemed overwhelmed or unwilling to provide adequate care. One reviewer's father experienced multiple falls during his stay, and another reviewer was billed incorrectly for care that was supposed to be covered by Medicare.
Billing Disputes
Another issue reported by reviewers was billing disputes. One reviewer was billed over $14,000 for care that was supposed to be covered by Medicare, despite being told multiple times that the care was covered. This caused significant stress for the reviewer and their family.
Exceptional Care
On the other hand, multiple reviewers reported having positive experiences with the staff at Hunt Rehabilitation. They praised the care and attention they received, particularly from certain staff members such as Val, Stephen, Katie, and Sharon. Reviewers appreciated the facility's warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the attention to their individual needs and wants.
