Urbana Ironworks, a division of Mike's Welding Service, Inc., was established in 1996 with a vision to provide unparalleled custom iron and steel projects. Over the years, we have grown to become a trusted name in the industry, serving clients across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. Our journey began when our owner, Michael Roderick, used a tax refund check to purchase his first welder and started offering fabrication and mobile repair services. Soon, he found his calling in fabricating rails for home builders, which laid the foundation for Urbana Ironworks.
